The reasonable all-inclusive price of this tour is $2,225.00 (single occupancy) and $1,950.00 (double occupancy). The price of this tour is subject to change and will be confirmed at time of booking. Please note: We prefer a limited number of guests on this tour, with a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 22. (For custom groups, however, we can accommodate up to 30 guests; sometimes more - please inquire.)

Archeological rules of the road

When booking this (or any other tour) we will always advise you what to bring with you so that your tour will be more comfortable, as well as to help cut down on your luggage.
Keep in mind our MD all-inclusive tours include the following: choice accommodations; lunch and dinner (with the evening meal starting on the first full day of your tour) (*), but alcoholic beverages are not included in the price of the tour and may be purchased separately when dining out; snacks and refreshments; transportation (from our meeting place and a return to same); all National Park/Monument entry fees and special admissions; all your camping gear (if the tour warrants); all host and special guest speaker fees (if the tour warrants); and all side excursion tours, such as rafting, jeep tours, horseback riding, etc.

(*) A continental breakfast is usually included in most of the hotels we use on all of our tours, but breakfast is otherwise on your own when not available in the hotels we use along the way in any of our SD or MD tours. Please inquire at time of booking.

Get ready for one of our best historical tours with some of the most awesome scenery and places to visit anywhere in the Southwest - all at an affordable price.

Here is a day-by-day account of what we have in store for you on this full week's adventure. . .

DAY 01/SUNDAY:
Arrival in Albuquerque. Transfer to the hotel followed by a welcome dinner that promises to be just a great sample of what is in store for you. Overnight in this, the "Duke City" of New Mexico. Throughout the tour we will be hosted by several special step-on Puebloan Indian and Spanish speakers, most of them popular and famous artisans.

PuebloDAY 02/MONDAY:
A day's tour of Albuquerque, including Old Town, the Indian Cultural Pueblo Center, and the Isleta (or Sandia) Pueblo. Lunch and dinner will be Southwestern throughout the tour, but you are welcomed to sample anything you desire on our full menu offering. Overnight in Albuquerque.

DAY 03/TUESDAY:
Gallup - El Morro National Monument - Zuni Pueblo - Gallup. We have exciting places to show you along the way with an equally exciting and interesting history to share with you. You'll spend the night at the famous El Rancho Hotel where the film legends of Hollywood stayed when making movies in this high desert region.

DAY 04/WEDNESDAY:
Gallup (the heart of Navajo country)- Red Rock State Park (near Gallup)- Acoma (aka "Sky City") Pueblo (one of the oldest continually inhabited settlements in America) - Albuquerque (overnight).

DAY 05/THURSDAY:
Albuquerque - Santa Fe (with visits to one or two famous pueblos en route). A special tour of Santa Fe's plaza, Palace of the Governors, along with myriad art galleries and museums awaits you. Overnight in Santa Fe where the best cuisine and restaurants of northern New Mexico is just part of the excitement of this world famous city.

DAY 06/FRIDAY:
Santa Fe - Nambe (or Tesuque) Pueblo - Chimayo and the Chapel of the Santo Nino - Bandelier National Monument (time permitting) - Santa Fe. Overnight in Santa Fe.

DAY 07/ATTURDAY:
Santa Fe - Albuquerque where we'll have added time to sightsee, shop, and see some special places we didn't get time to explore earlier in the week. One more pueblo en route to Albuquerque and a farewell dinner and overnight in this city of lights spread out before the Sandia Mountains. Departure in the morning and don't forget to take home some ristras and tamales!
